Rebecca Loo

With nearly 30 years of dedication to the beauty industry, Rebecca Loo has risen from a humble apprentice to a celebrated Senior National TVET Trainer and the Founder and Principal of Beauty Pro Academy. Known as the “TVET Certification Expert,” Rebecca has tirelessly promoted technical and vocational education, shaping countless careers and advancing the beauty industry in Malaysia.

Rebecca’s journey began in the 1990s when she pursued a career in beauty after deciding to forgo university. Starting as an apprentice at a renowned beauty salon in Kuala Lumpur, she quickly realized the importance of formal qualifications for career advancement. Driven to upskill, she pursued professional training in Malacca, earning Malaysia’s Level 1 and Level 2 SKM Technical Diplomas from the National Skills Development Department (JPK). Not content with stopping there, Rebecca became a certified Senior National TVET Trainer, taking her career to new heights.

In 1997, with her vision undeterred by challenges, Rebecca founded Beauty Pro Academy alongside her three sisters. Dedicated to providing professional beauty and wellness training and certifications, the academy has grown into a leading institution, helping countless individuals turn their passion into profession. Under her leadership, the academy has relocated multiple times to accommodate its growth, ultimately settling in its current location in Puchong, Selangor.
