(D4L) Embroidery - Gradient Soft Lips Design

    1. Competition Rules

(1) Competition Content

    1. Pre-Completion of Upper Lip:
    • Participants must complete the upper lip design on the silicone practice skin before the competition. The upper lip work will serve as a critical reference for on-site judging. The design must align with the design draft, showcasing a smooth gradient and natural softness.
    1. Design Draft Creation and Display:
    • Participants must prepare a design draft for the gradient lips in advance and display it on their workstation during the competition for judges’ reference. The design draft must include complete designs for both the upper and lower lips, with clearly marked gradient areas, color transitions, and detailed annotations.
    1. On-Site Completion of Lower Lip:
    • Participants must execute the gradient lips design on the lower lip area of the silicone practice skin during the competition. The lower lip design must match the upper lip in terms of color transition, depth, and overall style.

(2) Competition Time

    • The competition duration is 30 minutes. All actions must be completed within the time limit.

(3) Contestant Grooming Requirements

    1. Dress Code: Contestants must wear the uniform provided by the organizer, paired with appropriate pants and shoes to reflect a professional image.
    2. Hair Requirements: Hair must be neatly styled, clean, and well-groomed. If the hair is long, it may be tied back to maintain cleanliness and professionalism.
    3. Overall Appearance: Contestants must maintain a tidy and clean appearance, without excessive accessories or heavy makeup, to ensure a professional look.

(4) Silicone Practice Skin Requirements

    1. Style:
    • Participants must bring their own silicone practice skin identical to the organizer’s specified style (refer to the provided image).
    • The practice skin must include standard upper and lower lip areas, with clearly defined lip boundaries.
    1. Size:
    • The size may vary depending on the manufacturer, but the style must meet the specified standards.

(5) Design Draft Requirements

    1. Content: The design draft must include:
    • Lip Outline: A complete lip design with clear boundaries.
    • Gradient Color Areas: Clear markings for gradient transition areas and depth variations.
    1. Format and Size:
    • The draft must be printed on an A4 sheet and displayed on the workstation during the competition.
    1. Consistency with Final Work:
    • The final work must strictly follow the design draft. Significant deviations from the draft will result in point deductions.

(6) Tools and Products

    1. Tools: Tools include microblading pens (manual or machine blades) and auxiliary tools (e.g., rulers, arc guides, measurement lines).
    2. Products: Gradation from inner to outer colors (deep red, pink, nude pink). Specific pigments must be self-prepared and must be professional-grade for permanent makeup, suitable for silicone materials.
    3. Extension Cords: Contestants must bring their own extension cords; the organizer will only provide one electrical outlet per participant.
